Conductive Elastomer Fabric Sensing Glove

The CE glove prototype is wearable unobtrusive device able to detect human hand gesture, posture and movement. It is made of piezoresistive and elastic sensors directly printed on fabrics. Sensor and interconnections are made with the same elastic material, thus keeping unmodified the mechanical properties of the fabric itself. The prototype is light and flexible and can be wear from the users for a long time with no discomfort. Application are in the rehabilitation, ergonomics and multimedia fields.
